Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

    Hi folks,

    The Lego Masters show on Channel 4 has proven to be a huge lockdown hit for my two Lego crazy kids (6 and 8 year olds). They’ve got a good bit of Lego already but now battery powered moving bits. With birthdays coming up I’d love to get them started.

    But I’m not sure where to start...

    I was on the Lego site there and have a few things in the basket.
    * an M motor 8883
    * an XL motor 8882
    * a battery box 8881
    * extension wire 8871
    * control switch 8869

    But I’m not sure if this makes sense from a practical or €. Would there be an actual kit that included all these parts that would make sense to buy instead? If not, are there any major things I’m missing out with that selection?

    Thanks very much,
    Quad
