I see the rain skipped much of Laois according to the radar. Still above 15c here. Breeze is very light now.

    So today now looks cloudy
    And tomorrow
Nicest weather keeps getting pushed back a day before the washout returns on Sunday

Cold front eventually passed over South Laois around 6.30am. Sudden drop in temperatures and enough drizzle to wet the ground. Currently 13.2c with fog and mist.

Where's the forecast for cloudy weather tomorrow? From what I had gathered, it's to be nice from tomorrow until Saturday but with tomorrow being the coolest of the next 5 days.

Temperatures across the northern half of the country should recover by Wednesday with 18 to 20C possible in places if there are good spells of sunshine.

Low 20's possible in the southern half of the country by Thursday. Somewhere like Shannon could reach 23C.

Once we get today out of the way, the rest of the week should be fairly decent.

Bar patchy cloud and rain or drizzle and mist in the Northwest.

Today the forecast said lingering rain and drizzle clearing the South and yet when I arrived at work in Sligo there was mist on my windscreen. But Sligo isnt the south?

A small bit of drizzle this morning in Castlebar on and off, but the sun is trying to break through at the moment and some patches of blue skies are showing as well, 16.2C but feeling warmer.

Athenry seems to be having a prolonged run of bad (or good, depending on how you look at it) luck regarding rainfall amounts over the last couple of months as once again, it recorded the highest amount yesterday: 18.4 mm. Compare this with the paltry 4.2mm at Mace Hd on the exposed west coast. It is easy understand why KM79's stress levels are through the roof lately.

It has been pretty grimm, Athenry is running at 368.4mm of rain since the start of August, Newport is not that far behind with 335.3mm and it looks like next week could be quite wet as well.

Belmullet only has had 223.7mm as a comparison with Mace Head having just over 200mm

Sun is out and sky is clear after a cloudy enough day here...in county meath

Miserable enough day yesterday and today, got soaked out walking yesterday and the garden is still very damp over 24 hours later.
Looking forward to a rerun of Saturday's weather in the next few days.

Thast was a dull, cold day but I can see a clearance in the northern sky now. The day's high was only 13.9C. There was 2.0mm of rain recorded this morning.

after two properly cold and early Winter like days', the skies have cleared here and the sun is out. Hopefully it will be much milder by tomorrow. Friday and Saturday look very good, then Autumn will be powering up from Sunday.

Clear blue skies to the end the day here in Castlebar. Lots of sunshine to be had tomorrow ,away from the north west which will have more cloud.

Beautiful end to an otherwise rubbish day in Dublin. Am glad to see the back of yesterday and today.

True. At last we have a clear sky here in Glasnevin but it's a bit late in the day to provide any benefit.
