They might be concerned about the long face

There is a donkey in a small field up a road I travel on regularly. Tiny little field with a horrible tin shed built on it. I feel for the poor donkey it looks miserable. It’s fairly exposed to the elements and the donkey seems to always be standing in the same spot staring into space.

The Ass-quisition credit.

And if you get it as a gift you have to pay Capital Ass-quition Tax.

Have you ever called the ISPCA about it?

on what grounds.
that the donkey chooses to stand out in the rain and not in a shed.

donkeys are funny like that . for some reason they will stand out in the rain rather than be inside in a nice stable

For one thing, it should have company, they're sociable animals.

I've heard it's an instinctive thing to protect them from predators hiding in scrub and bushes, they'll stand out in the middle of a field so they see any predators approaching, that being said tho I remember my father had two donkeys that used stand in an old shed in the field where they were so maybe it varies from animal to animal

I have read that they are good for protecting sheep from wild animals or stray dogs. Alpacas are used for this as well.

It's a really nice animal.

My neighbour has one. It's a small animal and the odd time you hear it making a funny neighing sound. I see it walking around the field too. It's tiny. This small yoke walking around the field like Lord Muck. Gives me a good laugh now and again.

If you've got the facilities for it and can look after it, definitely get one.

There once was a guy from Finglas
Who had a magnificent ass
Not rugged and pink
As you'd probably think
It was grey had long ears and ate grass....

I presume this video was recommended to me because of this thread and I don't mind at all!

House Donkey. You don't need a bigger bed. Just more pillows!
