Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Moving to barebow on one occasion :)

    Our club is taking a trip to the Hyde Park Winter wonderland (Christmas fair/fare/fayre, whatever the word is)

    Apparently they have a barebow target every year where you have to shoot 4 small balloons with 6 arrows from 4 meters.

    Any tips since I've never shot barebow only Olympic recurve? Haha. Should be fun.

    That's not very safe!!!

    Aim with arrow tip. Use a high anchor (cheek bone) to try to get your eye at the same level as the arrow.

    Ya, thought the guy running the range was standing way too close. But I don't know what the heads on those arrows are like and I doubt there is much poundage in the bows.
