We will be running our annual Cork Congress from 4th-6th October in the Metropole Hotel Cork.

This will be a six round Swiss tournament with 90 minutes per player for all moves + 15 seconds increment from move 1.
There will be three sections - Masters ≥ 1600 - Majors 1200 to 1600 - Minors < 1200.

Entry will be €40 for all sections for entries received by the end of September and €50 for entries received on or after 1st October.

It is a great pity that the Metropole Hotel is so expensive. 119 euro per night for a single room is prohibitive. I would have played otherwise.
