    I have been involved in a FMCG sales business for the last 8 years .
    I went on a break for of some the last year to work on other projects , but also it was a direct account business(collecting and chasing payments) and I have now set up a central billing model for the restart and have moved from a split of wholesale and retail customers to all retail.
    I have products listed across multiple brands (20 skus) with the two main retail groups .
    Also I am chasing new listings and am also talking to one of the big two discounters regards some of our brands .

    What I am looking for is someone with sales experience to join me and hopefully they can bring something to the party , experience would be good but attitude is better .

    What I have is a ready to go business products listings and vans , no capital required as per say .
    Business is based in greater Leinster area , but distance not important .

    Seeking an investment or marketing partner for a tech company specialising in internet control for kids.

    Everything up & running at the moment including website, purchasing backend, management backend, vendor relationships, online accounting platform, online services platform etc.
    Setup, customisation & testing all done during the past year +.

    Looking for either an investment partner or investment & marketing partner to help take things to the next level.

    Need to now scale up customer-base by marketing & correct messaging.

    It's a troubling time right now for businesses but the ones that are in good shape at the moment will emerge in better shape as things recover.

    We have a services solution built over the past two years, and recently live, that is working well & needs to now increase the customer base.

    It's designed for ease of use by parents and has been tested by the IT department of the largest private school in Ireland with a thumbs up.

    Looking for people that are passionate about this area (Parental control, internet control, Internet safety for kids) and people that have marketing talents.

    This isn't a quick & easy route to millions.
    It requires hard work & effort (just as we've put in to get this established). It's going to take a long hard slog over the next few months. But it's that work that gets done now which will pay off in the years to come.

    How much, approx, are you looking for? And is that for equity and/or profit share?

    Can you link the product?

    What is your user base like, 10 or 10,000?

    Round figures, what is your turn over / forecasts like?

    Do you own the software or are you repackaging existing solutions?

    If you do own it, do you require SOC2, Privacy Shield, CSA compliance? Have you done this if so?

    What is your legal exposure like as you are dealing with kids?

    Is your own background in networks and more importantly net security?
    IT department of the largest private school in Ireland with a thumbs up.

    This, personally, means nothing. Have you been tested by any real security company? i.e. A pentest, red/blue etc?

    HI Folks 

    I'm looking for an Investor for a new / never seen before award winning product that I have developed for the music Industry.
    I have a fully functioning pre production prototype, a full EU design patent in place and an Industry leader in the US Interested in being a distributor for It. They can also open up distribution channels in mainland EU for me. I also have companies in Canada and Ireland Interested in being distributors. After I got my patent In place I went public with it for further market research and ended up having to take the product off line completely as I had musicians trying to pre order and pre pay through my Facebook account. I also had the largest online music magazine in the world contact me looking to run a feature on it. 
    I have sourced a manufacturer In China who can make the product for $10 USD per unit ( €8.50 ) .. the MRSP of the product is €70.00 ( $83.00 ) and my market research has shown people are more than willing to pay this. I also have access to NAMM trade fairs in the US and EU plus a well known Industry artist ready to endorse the product in the US for a royalty. 
    I have personally been in the Industry for over 30 years and through my own social media I have access and have personally been in touch with some of the best known backing musicians, guitar and amp builders in the world .... all who love this product.

    Any customs professionals out there interested in setting up their own clearance business? Im sure with Brexit approaching, your services are in demand from employers. Why not go out on your own, so you can take full advantage of the opportunities that are coming?

    Hello. I'm currently working in a large manufacturing company. I've always had an urge to start a business myself and have already started 2 small businesses in the past. I'm looking for someone who also is fed up working for someone else, who has a hunger to work for themselves and who is a hard worker. I already have some ideas but this is more of a brainstorming exercise with a view to starting something. Thanks.

    Returning from abroad this year and looking to explore partnership or new business opportunities - not in any rush to jump into anything but starting to look around.

    I'm not sure how much information to put on here as it starts to sound like gratuitous self promotion but I have 25 years management in everything from high-volume hospitality, construction, sales and have successfully started and been bought out of 2 companies over the last couple of years 10 years.

    Would consider investing in existing business with strong financials but not interested in franchises or licensing agreements at this time. Would prefer to be an active part of the business and not just equity.

    Hi all,

    I've recently developed an application that will change the way customers go about contact tracing during this pandemic. I started it because I went for lunch one day and the person in front of me sneezed into their hands and then used the communal pen provided by the cafe to sign in. Another factor with paper based recording is that is breaches gdpr, all I need to do is read the lines around my name and I can see peoples personal information.

    There are 3 main objectives I wish to meet as a company:

    1. Increase the speed at which close contacts can be notified
    2. Make covid 19 compliance easier for our customers
    3. Reduce the anxiety of our customers to help them do more to combat covid 19.
    4. Improve GDPR compliance in contact tracing.

    I'm looking for a business partner who can help me get a foot in the door with

    1. Restaurants
    2. Cafes
    3. Gyms
    4. Pubs
    5. A.O.B that requires customer detail recording e.g. car dealerships

    The app currently provides a number of different functionalities such as contact attendance tracking, bulk messaging and daily statistics on customer attendance.

    You do realize that the site you linked to sell just one component (a device to tell how much a shaft has turned) of an automation system, hardly enough to start a business in that area?

    I know this thread isn't overly active but I said I'll give it a try anyway.

    I currently run my own teamwear/uniform business which provides orders on a made to order basis. The business is 5 years old and is performing v well. I'm open to idea however of creating another brand elsewhere in the country (midlands based ) or even open to working with someone who may be looking for a business partner servicing this market in another field. I have experience in dealing with international markets, customs clearance of products as well as e commerce platforms. I also have experience in the hiring/ management of staff.

    I'm building an online marketplace for authentic Irish experiences in the tourism niche. A Tripadvisor for off-the-beaten track once-in-a-lifetime Irish adventures.


    Target market: US and UK tourists interested in paying a little extra to experience a truly special adventure in Ireland. Starting in Cork, then Dublin, then Galway. 


    I have a technical background but I've been running a successful business in the tourism niche for a while now. Route to market includes Social Media and SEO with a bit of PPC. 


    We'll live or die by our reviews and our word-of-mouth feedback.


    The business will specialise in smaller intimate _beat-the-bus_ tours which will set us apart from the competition. We'll treat our guests like family.


    I have a prototype (MVP) of the website almost completed.


    What I'm looking for in a co-founder:


    1. Passionate about startups: have you attempted a startup before? How did it work out?


    2. Obsessive about providing guests with a wonderful experience 


    3. Highly organised and can run operations on the ground.


    4. Experience in raising capital or ability in this area.


    5. You'd need to provide the company with working capital investment or a buy-in.


    6. Tourism experience


    It's essential that we can get on and stand each other's company. A person residing in Cork would be great. I've been working on the project for over 6 months.

    We are expanding our Recruitment business to supply both permanent and temporary agency staff to Hospitals and Care homes. At present running a recruitment business in a different sector.
