Semi finalists reveled on Sunday the 30th at 18:30.
Semi finals start on Saturday 5th September.

Ashley (Diversity) Banjo replacing injured Simon

    Crap missed it

What is this rubbish? Basically a reminder of the acts - pointless

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,984 ✭✭✭mikeym

    Ah here.

They sent the mermaid and the red crab through to the live finals.

At least we wont have Simon saying that it was the best BGT ever.

That was it....I skipped most of it tbh.

I wonder how the live shows will work...will they have fake fan noise like the footie!

I'm struggling to think of any act that I'm looking forward to seeing and hoping to win

Will be a dire finale this year

    Were the semi finalists revealed?
I saw some of the programme on Sunday night. The bit I saw was the judges picking out who should go through, but I didn't see who they picked.

They all seem to be on Wikipedia. I missed that show by the way.

    Thanks.

It wasn't much use tbh, the bit I saw. Mostly just the judges discussing who was going through but some of the time it was unclear who they were discussing, iykwim.

Showed clips from some of the performances and that was it really.

Ah it was quite good. Very cleverly done. Other acts not so great so far though.

Good dancer for his age but this stuff bores me to tears

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,231 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

Boring magic act - done so many times and now 3 times by him

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,069 ✭✭✭✭iamwhoiam

Ashley Banjo is a real asset . No hogging the limelight or fake laughter I like him

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,231 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

SOS are school talent show quality and no more

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,231 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

Well that was very underwhelming by Faith - far better child singers

What a convoluted way to pick one person by the judges

I have to catch up on BGT later, but I was pleased when I heard that he was going to be stepping in for Simon. I liked him as a judge on Dancing on Ice.

    Delighted he got through
Don’t usually like that kind of stuff but he was by far and away the best of them
    Faith was disappointing
The young lion kid dancer was good
Father son magic act was very smart

Bizarre that we don’t get the second act going through until the final comes around !

And yes Ashley is amazing . No bs with him. Always comes across genuine

Its very odd that the 2nd act to go through wasnt announced on the live show.

I agree. And even odder than you need to wait until finals to find out from my understanding? Seems like a way to make more money from votes.

I missed this the other night what’s the story with all the complaints over the Diversity performance?

    It’s gotten over 7000 complaints.

Is it because it may have been considered to political or something?

That would be the same kind of people that voted for Brexit. Absolutely ridiculous IMO.
