Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Im having a feeling that this may grow into a Hurricane and go towards the Bahamas.

    My guess it will go for the leeward islands and take a similar track to Ivan. Done know if Jamaica or Cayman Islands will get it but I would put my money on Cuba.

    It has not been a good season and we are only around the halfway point yet. It goes on for another couple of months. It is a bit stormy in Dublin tonight, but we have nothing to complain about with our weather, though we often do, compared to what they get in other parts of the world. Ours may not be great, but we don't get the extremes that other countries do.

    Lisa is interacting with the current weather we are receiving, monday into tuesday could well become "interesting".

    Karl made it onto the UK met office maps too as a hurricane but it dissappeared fairly rapidly and went off to the north of scotland.

    that Low pressure marked 972 doesnt look very friendly though.

    Is it possible for pressure to go as low as the eight hundreds? 800 - 899?
