Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Replacing C17 Zonda freehub

    If you were doing it yourself you'd replace both bearings with decent replacements for about €12 quid. But if you've to pay the LBS to do it I assume you'd be looking at closer to €40 - 2 bearings and maybe €20 for labour.

    Yes, thats the freehub.
    I got the bearings in a Zonda freehub replaced by Expert Cycles in Rathfarnham.
    As I remember, they charged me €30. So half the cost of a new freehub.

    Was that recently Eamonnator?
    I was talking to them but havent dropped in as gave my LBS first refusal...Quoting near twice the price just to replace the bearings on the hub alone.

    Time to call into Expert..Irishrover spoke highly of them too
