An 120 episodes of the 'History of Ireland' was broadcast by the BBC a few years ago. The program broadcast two episodes at a time as they are short in duration. It can now be heard on BBC Radio7

These are actually pretty well done, they make complex medieval Irish history relatively digestable compared to prior attempts. Thanks for clueing me up to these.
