I started speech therapy for a stammer with the HSE and the wait time was 1 week which was shocking. I've heard of parents with children waiting months or years for speech therapy with the HSE for their children but it doesn't seem to be the case for adult speech therapy. I've been doing it since May and it is a help but a long process and very hard work but hopefully worth it in the long run.
