It’s obvious that SD is now the A show so the biggest male talent seems to be going that direction but I’ve a feeling we will see Raw become the Womens show as Becky and Charlotte will be there and I’d bet you Ronda will be back at some stage.

Notes from Meltzer

Carmella and R-Truth were broken up because USA wanted the 24/7 title (since it was their idea)- but since Carmella is dating Corey Graves, they had to put Carmella on Smackdown.
Paul Heyman got "all of his guys" (except Brock) and "Smackdown got the leftovers" (Dave's words).
Humberto Carillo is set to be groomed as the next generation Hispanic star.
Paul Heyman is very high on Buddy Murphy- more than anyone else, Dave assumed he would go to RAW for Heyman. He also mentioned Heyman really wanting Aleister Black.
The Miz going to Smackdown was a change, Dave speculates because of the leaks.
Eric Bischoff is high on Baron Corbin.
Luke Harper wasn't drafted. Dave doesn't know why, but mentions there were only storylines planned for Harper until the tag match at Hell in a Cell.
Dave doesn't know why they put Rey Mysterio on a separate brand to Cain Velasquez.
Dave was surprised Gable wasn't drafted to RAW.
AoP are going to be on RAW, despite not being drafted, per Meltzer.
Meltzer noted that RAW is loaded up with great workers who aren't over- so Heyman's goal is to now get these guys over (guys like Murphy, Alexander, Tozawa etc).
Meltzer says that they weren't intending to do another draft before the FOX move- the rosters for RAW and Smackdown were going to be what they were after the Superstar Shake-up in April. Says he doesn't know why that changed. Says it was most likely due to popping a rating, hence the minimal changes.

If the SD women's roster was stacked then surely it makes more sense to then put Carmella on Raw (just using as an example), and Carmella could advance her career doing so

Then if couples break up you've got the awkwardness of that also

Have to wonder what people are at that it takes a while for the IC champ to be drafted. Surely if you want people to watch your show, you'll get as many belts on there as you can.

And even though Raw had an extra pick each round, Smackdown got the same number of superstars for most rounds by getting the 3 person New Day and other teams.
I do wonder about the logic. Like Nikki and Alexa were drafted separately but Roode and Ziggler are drafted as a team. Then Harper and Rowan are separated.

Then Smackdown have Mandy in their fancy opening credits, but don't draft her
