The brother and I have a day booked off work next week to watch Cheltenham and can anyone recommend a decent pub in Limerick or Newcastlewest where they show the racing on a decent screen, bit of atmosphere and preferably a bookies nearby.
I've gone into some of the more trendy/modern places in town in the past and i've had to ask them to put on the racing so i reckon a more traditional pub is best, any recommendations greatly appreciated!

South's Pub O Connell avenue Limerick will be hard to beat, great racing crowd and a bookies next door.

    Grub is good too!

Ya, Charlie Malones, Souths and also Bobby Byrnes, three good spots and all within spitting distance of each other and bookie shops.
