I am hoping to sit F4 in September, but really struggling to find information on the Irish Variant. BPP only publish Global or English variant text books. I had hoped to self study this module, however without material for the Irish Variant I am not sure what to do. Can I just do the English Variant or is it imperative I do the Irish one? Cant seem to find any relevant information on the ACCA website about study material. Any help much appreciated!

Have you tried the course book sticky on this thread. Lots books being sold/exchanged. You might be able to to pick one up there?

It is the first topic on the Accountancy forum on boards.

I will have a look at home to see if I still have my F4 books also.

I spoke to both Accountancy School & Studyonline & they both provide the English Version of the course only. They advised that it is 80% the same as the Irish Version, and can be taken as a CBE on demand, whereas the Irish Variant can only be taken as a paper based exam twice a year. I have decided to go with the English Variant and will be using BPP text, revision kit, passcards and the Open Tutition website.
