The only qualifier likely to be of interest to most neutrals as probably a close one is Monaghan v Armagh. If had TV preference would watch that over the Kerry/Cork game.

That clashes with the Munster final obviously, which might not be as much a foregone conclusion as some believe. I don't think anyone can really claim that much will be missed at other venues unless likes of Mayo and Kildare have complete melt down.

You've heard about Cork beating a 25-man Dublin by 973 points in a challenge match too haven't you?

There are 7 counties playing this Saturday, that because of Skys "business" decision, will now not get an opportunity to play in a telivised game again this year.

You seem to be blaming Sky for counties getting little coverage rather than our national broadcaster who couldn't give two fcuks about any team that doesn't play hurling and is located in Munster. Sky and the BBC have been the saviours of the football championship this year. The GAA went ahead and scheduled the two most attractive games against the Munster Final, thats not Sky's fault

I do believe I was one of the first to mention it here :)

Cork were mostly bad in league although lost a few close ones and their fate was in other's hands to get them relegated at the end.

I think they can improve, although maybe not much can be taken from hammering Limerick. Also don't think Kerry are that great despite all the wind being blown up their arse, and are mentally brittle as they've shown on a good few occasions including league final.

So if Cork bring their Big Boy Pants would be hoping they might run them close.

    No way !

    When did that happen?

    Anyone at it? ;)

You'd have to imagine that either 7pm qualifier will be better than the walkover we'll see in Killarney/Tralee.

Firstly you will not be seeing any walkover in Killarney/Tralee

Any walkover will be seen in PUC

    Secondly it's a provincial final.

Any provincial final will always get shown before a qualifier

It's good to have the option, but YouTube isn't good enough to follow hurling on.

It was meant to be but the Pair Hi Caoimh rubbish meant it had to be switched. The hurling quarter finals were the first games there.

It's still not the same quality as TV, but handy for the different ways of viewing.

It was in cork last year, but the home and away arrangement was put on hold while PUC was being rebuilt so cork are owed a few games.

Miles better than the abomination that is RTE Player and the godawful Eirsport website as well.

I know TG4 have ran into issues over NI viewers being unable to watch matches on YouTube but broadcasting there is a good use of their resources.

For all the people here that wonder why we need analysis at all and to just show the match; this is why :D

Hopefully a few Wexford heads land early for the McDonagh because nobody will be watching it on TV anyway. Still good to see it shown though.

To be honest, I'd find the McDonagh final more interesting than either provincial final this weekend. At least there's something at stake other than deciding whether a team joins the All Ireland championship at either the quarter final or semi final stage. The interesting part of the provincials are over

True. I'll hopefully be going to Croke Park anyway but if not I'll be watching the McDonagh myself.

Hopefully both counties will bring more than the paltry usual crowd seen as they'll get to take in a good game after as well. Both should go to the wire.

Leinster minor final between Kiilkenny and Wexford is on beforehand, so should be a decent crowd in. Although they may not stay in their seats for all the MocDonagh final, but still be around there anyway I'd reckon. It's going to be a long day there for the 3 games!
