Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I am making this thread as an avenue for people to talk about archaeology and metal detecting regarding the law and non-legal matters. I am not a proponent of metal detecting and actually it is rather boring topic but it is important for there to be a place to discuss this. Certainly there are dark forces who would rather silence and taboo.
    So please use this thread to discuss this topic.
