Wolves with no European or League cup distractions pleases me

Jahanbakhsh did about as well as a player can do to earn himself a game. He was very good. Opposition weren't much though. I'd like to see him get a start versus Newcastle.

Shame their options are a bit all over the shop.

No RWB. Marcal doesn’t look very adventurous at LWB.

So you’ve got to choose one of the 3 centre backs.

Then attack doesn’t look very settled at all. Something up with Jota (on bench at weekend and didn’t come on. Also not in squad tonight). Minutes will be shared in attack with the exception of Jimenez.

I really only see 4 options. Which is a crying shame as reckon they’ll have a fantastic season now.

Jimenez is the safest bet and already got going this season - i just don't know if he's worth 8.5m?

Oh absolutely i think. Traore looks appealing too with Doherty gone he could really nail that right wing spot. Other than that Saiss/Boly/Patricio are definitely worth a look IMO.

    Reckon so.

If you buy him he’s in for the season. Steady Eddie. Pain and hassle free.

    ..
Late changes to West Ham team

The Hammers have made two very late changes to their starting lineup for tonight's clash.

Jack Wilshere and teenage defender Harrison Ashby are both promoted to the first XI at the expense of Josh Cullen and Issa Diop.

Goalkeeper David Martin is now listed as a substitute.

You would have thought for the game that it is - it would have been the perfect game to bring Werner on and help him get his first goal for the club and get up and running.

A goal and 2 assists for Abraham will be giving Lampard something to think about even if it is only Barnsley.

    Fulham, Burnley and Brighton through.

10 minutes left of the 7:45 kickoffs....

Chelsea 5-0 up, as mentioned Havertz tearing it up with a hat-trick. A couple of Abraham assists and Barkley goal as well.

Everton 4-2 up against Fleetwood. Iwobi (Gordon) and Bernard goal.

Arsenal 1-0 up. Fuchs own goal

Lascelles (Ritchie) and Newcastle are 6-0 up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 42,079 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

Chelsea 6-0 up ... Giroud (Chilwell)

  • Registered Users Posts: 42,079 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

    Nketiah (Bellerin) and Arsenal through.

A last-minute own goal makes it a magnificent seven for Newcastle and they sail through.

Kean (Nkounkou) rounds off a 5-2 win for Everton.
