Who wants to take bets on the lotto been won tonight!
I feel the National Lottery might just decide to let this large rollover be won tonight.

Then starting fresh on St Patrick’s weekend with an extra €1,000,000 prize fund of €2m. No winners for St Patrick’s weekend, with added lotto fever for Easter bring Easter Saturday prize fund to around €4m.

Even more so if the lotto is won tonight, as the public will see them as decent and honest. However, if it is won tonight they have lost out on increasing revenue from sales if the roll over was worth around €16 or €17m jackpot for Easter.

Anyway there are another 3 large roll overs due for the rest of the year.
    So play early.

So if it is won tonight, it is because they are aware that you are on to them and they decided to let it go early.. If it isn't won tonight, it is proof that your conspiracy theory is true? So you're right either way. :pac: While you are obsessing over this silly conspiracy theory, your toast is probably burning

    The Lotto draw isn't live?
Don't know if this is right but I have been told that the lotto isn't live for the following reason.
As we all know the last 15 minutes before the draw you can't purchase a ticket, what happens in this 15 minutes is that 5 draws are carried out to make sure the thing isn't rigged, ie. same balls coming out each time.
That said, would it not also be possible during this time for a computer to work out a combination of balls to throw out for it not to be won ?

Last time I seen the lotto it was a load of balls swirling around in a sphere, a tube would rise up and select a ball. I don't see how a computer could predict which ball was over that tube at any given moment.

I'm sure you could rig balls with weights.

EDIT: Apparantly it was won after all so this summary is useless. He will still say he is right though :)

I can give you a summary of what he will say.

    (1) They have chosen to let someone win on Paddy's weekend.

    (2) Obviously this was always their plan since they made the numbers fall between 24 and 36, a very narrow range designed to reduce the chances of someone winning.

    (3) I have called them and put this to them.

    (4) I will be proven right.

I watching a film will be on later. Now that it’s won I can put my accusation about fraud directly to the Director of the National Lottery.
However if I had kept my mouth shut and let them have there €17m roll over instead of going through all this later in the year!

Re the PM “Be careful they don’t send a hit man”!

No, I just better not make a trip to Russia like one Liam Lawlor and get taken out!

    Regards
    Brian

Your going to get yourself arrested if you don't stop harassing the National Lottery.

    Thanks.

Its funny that Brian said it, cause when I bought my ticket it was only cause the gf said to. I was at the shop counter and when she said it rolled over I said "Its not been won yet?" and the assistant in the shop goes "Of course not, they would hardly have it won when there is a bank holiday coming up"

Write a computer program to do it for you, or set up some queries in Access or some other database application. I've done both. It doesn't matter how many lines I have, as when the winning numbers are being called out, I type them in and my program counts and highlights them for me. As soon as the last number is drawn, I immediately know if I've won anything or not. I never have to check a ticket, and since I mostly use the same numbers, I don't have to do many adjustments to where they are stored on file.
