    Hey all,

I was involved in an accident 11 months ago and claim is still open so seem to be tied in with current insurer, policy increased from 500 to 1800 and am doing online applications and gonna start calling brokers tomorrow.

Did anyone have any luck in changing insurers in my position or recomend any brokers?

    Appreciate any help... :)

The same happened to me. To move insurers you will have to get the claim closed. Is there a specific reason that it isn't?

Mine was still open in error and once it was closed I could get quotes. A new insurance company will not take to with open claims as far as I am aware.

The claimant is pursuing the case through the criminal injuries board I've been told, we both share the same insurance company so had been told at the outset it should be settled promptly...

Guess I have no outs then...
