Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    If you were buying a buy to let property, where would you buy?

    I'd buy in north Dublin, within a commute of the city. - Swords, Kinsealy, Baldoyle. There's some really good priced apartments there.

    Anywhere near a Uni. Easily pull €2500 per month.

    Depending on your finances I would go for,
    1. A one bed apartment. (Easier to let probably to a couple will stay. A two bed means a mix of people who may/may not get on and more often turnover in tenants)
    2. Along the Green Luas line to get maximum rent.
    3. The Green Luas Line is more stable as regards employment as it serves the financial areas of D1 D2 and D4 as well as I.T. land in D2 D4 and Sandyford
