I'd like to hear the alternatives that the Israeli border guards should have took when faced violent massed crowds trying to cross their border.

    Not shoot them.

should have TAKEN... hopefully something similar to those taken by germans etc during violent mass immigration last year etc. restraint, warning fire, rubber bullets, tear gas etc etc. when 10 people die by gunfire, the charge would stop, I'd say those deaths were pelted out in a hail over seconds or minutes.. and listening to Doctor NO there on primetime, it;s easy to believe that's the case..zero apology made for 8 kids dying.

Basically confirms (if such confirmation was ever needed) that the US can't be remotely considered as an 'honest broker' when it comes to Middle East peace efforts. Dark times ahead I fear.

No. And that’s why the Israelis are so supremacist and unscared. A few days ago they served the Japanese ambassador dessert in a shoe.

    Less lethal weapons.

Really? Haven't European nations taken leading roles in a good few 'international missions' over the last few years?

Again ? That implies that it's happened before and all I've seen is a shockingly implimented brexit plan.

Britain and America and their leaders can do no wrong in young gattlins mind. Everything they do is just and right and always with the moral ground and noble intentions.
Everything. Especially illegal wars, because then he gets his war porn.

By any standards yesterdays events were a war crime. Trump and his cohorts a few miles away celebrating.
I know the conflict is complex, but some things are simple.
Shooting nearly 60 protestors at a fence is barbaric, the Israelis were under no significant threat.

    Do try harder

Rarely speak about Israel which nulls any point your trying to make

But I did read on rt that 5000 killed at the border odd not even hamas has made that claim

The Israelis have reduced the Palastinians to sub human in their minds..

I just listened to a woman called Laura Loomer on George Galloway's radio show. Her attitude was basically that all people of Gaza are terrorists. She has zero sympathy for them.

Have to hand it to the Bolivians, they consistently call the US and Israel out for their bull**** at the UN,nice to see them reading out the names of the palestinian victims of the two rogue states aswell.

Cold blooded massacre. The Israelis get away with murder. I have seen first hand the power of the Israel lobby in USA. You dare not question them.

Tear gas, rubber bullets, water cannons. And at a push, stun grenades

I was wondering where Gatling was today, he usually has strong opinions about UN resolutions being blocked but kept quiet today for some reason?
I honestly don't know what I just watched. That was something
Just seen it on +1. I can see why the Saudis and Israel are allies, different types of fundamentalism but a lot in common really.

I despair of this crisis. As much as I have sympathy for the Palestinians I can't help but think their 'peaceful protest' is designed to be nothing of the kind.

Edit: And to bring youngsters to the border for this protest is just despicable to me, when they know perfectly well how it's all going to filter out.

Yeah I mean what Israel did was barbaric, but to suspect the protesters did not have bad intentions along with Hamas is a little naive. It obviously doesn't justify the massacre, but I wish people would be a little more critical of Hamas.

    .

The Washington Post (traditionally to the left of the political spectrum and no friend of Israel) had an interesting article giving more of the palestinian activities during the attacks on the border
Some young men brought knives and fence cutters. At a gathering point east of Gaza City, organizers urged protesters over loudspeakers to burst through the fence, telling them Israeli soldiers were fleeing their positions, even as they were reinforcing them.

    later
A truck rolled past carrying young men chanting: “To Jerusalem we go with millions of martyrs” and “Death rather than humiliation.”
While some said they would abide by official calls to keep the demonstrations peaceful, others talked about their enthusiasm to break into Israel and wreak havoc.

“We are excited to storm and get inside,” said 23-year-old Mohammed Mansoura. When asked what he would do inside Israel, he said, “Whatever is possible, to kill, throw stones.”

Two other young men carried large knives and said they wanted to kill Jews on the other side of the fence.

    Peaceful protests indeed.

The palestinian claims on casualty figures make no sense either. They claim that 1359 people were injured by live ammunition. Al-Shifaa hospital alone claimed
It had received around 400 injured by about 6 p.m., most of whom had been shot

So many shot but 58 dead? The Israelis must be either astonishingly good at shooting people in the arms and legs or Hamas is lying about the numbers to garner sympathy through the media.

Look, Israel invaded surrounding countries in 1967, refuses to leave these occupied territories, illegally settled them by Zionist ultra orthodox types and they expect the Palestinians to totally acquiesce?

They are the architect of their own troubles. They reap what they sow.

Its genocide..its one group of people trying to wipe out another, simple as that

The people protesting, just protesting, have literally have their land ripped from them,violently..its like poland in the late 30's early 40's...its trying to destroy a whole nation of people by force..of course they are protesting, its the exact same as if italy invaded germany and then started shooting the germans for protesting about their homes and land being seized by force..no different... the jewish people should be ashamed of the Zionist regime proclaiming to represent them...which they dont

And let's not lose sight of the fact that it was Israelis who shot and murdered these innocent children.

The Las Vegas shooting last year, 58 dead 851 injured. And that was from an elevated position shooting on a more enclosed, concentrated crowd.

Jewish supremacists want to wipe out us all, they want us fighting wars so us goyim(cattle) can kill each other off.

They have already created famines and plagues and killed countless millions across the world, they where responsible for the gulags in russia and the mass replacement programmes of all of russia's other ethnic minorities, not one jew was ever tortured to death in a gulag, but plenty of Chinese, koreans, tatars, cossacks, chechens, dagestanis and avars where, among'st others.

ALL the bolshevik leadership was of jewish bloodline, they carried a jewish supremacist mentality which they hid from the public but discussed behind closed doors.

Over 50% of all ships carrying african slaves during the african slave trade where owned by jews, they only made up 1% of the entire worlds population.

Ran out of 200 different countries and districts over the course of 1000 years and its always everyone else's fault, really?

Hamas is using public radio speakers to call all young men to storm the fences and be martyred. Israel is in an impossible situation. If it gives Palestinians a state, it will be a terrorist rouge state, like Iran, whose sole aim will be to destroy Israel. Also it will be free to import arms and funding from all the Arab nations. Also people ignore the fact that Hamas rules with an iron fist. It has squads that kill anyone who doesn’t support the violent tactics. All Israel asks is that they recognize Israel and pledge to accept the borders and not use anymore terrorism. Also there is no such people as Palestinians and has never been a Palestinian state.
