With the amount of weather related bull**** headlines the express puts out it was only a matter of time that there headlines would come true lol

Have you got a link to where the Met Office agree?

As close as I can get it

Government weather forecasters said Britain is likely to shiver in below-average temperatures for the next three months. They blame a negative North Atlantic Oscillation which will block mild Atlantic air and allow bitter Arctic gales to rip into the UK.
A statement from the Met Office’s three-month contingency plan states: “Indications are that December will most likely be colder than average.

Thanks!

Could that not mean though that December/January/February could be 1°c below the average for this time of the year? Doesn't necessary mean that we are in for an Ice Age. I could be looking at this completely wrong though

James Madden (apt surname) of 'Exacta Weather' has been forecasting widespread snowfall for the UK all this week for yesterday and today, and then found justification for this by showing BBC weather map forecast showing a total whiteout... over the highest peaks of Scotland

If this is the measure he is using to justify his far-out winter forecast for this year, then likely he will be proved right...

The shear neck of some people never ceases to amaze me..
