How could anyone not have heard this?! MTV did a whole day devoted to this "precious musical gem".

although i dont mean any disrespect to her i never thought she was that big and so important!

Aaliyah has been huge on MTV america and MTV base here.
Shes has been compared to Dre (ie)the ability to reinvent her music as needed.
Aaliyah=not big here, but big in america so shes will get her tributes and eat them too..or not.
