Yeah Wattimena deserves his chance he's doing very well on the floor tournaments at the moment and Barney playing like a pig as well. Ireland and Wales have decent shouts of going very well I think and Lithuania could spring a surprise or two IMO.

We have a good team with Lennon and O'Connor but we need both of them playing well at the same time. They definitely have it in them to make a quarter final anyway.

I think Lennon is a better player than he’s given credit for, if they both play well they can beat anyone

Potentially England in the last 16 though. Will be tough to beat them!

Let's see about beating Greece and John Michael's wobbly darts.
It's a good comp - a format and players you don't get to see often and plenty of competitive darts.

Didn't look that far ahead, just saw Greece and thought "it's coming home"!

Can't see Ireland beating England but getting past Greece means £4K each for the two boys so how bad. Am I right in saying it doesn't contribute to rankings?

    Northern Ireland are my darkhorse.

Nope, not a ranking event. if the boys play well they could beat England,, Smith can't buy a win these days and Cross is unpredictable

Plenty small nation's could cause a shock. Austria, Poland, Norn Iron, ect. Really looking forward to it

No surprise really. I read or heard they were tipped but wouldn't have fancied them at all. Dolan is well off his prime.

Gerwyn Price is a super player but is made look even better compared to Clayton and the Lims.

Good man Lennon, held his throw for a 4-3 win over Smith.
Now for Willie to take care of Cross.
