So this was actually the focus of a study a few years back.

Tbh, this used a very low number of subjects and the supplementary tables show that all volunteers had normal blood pressure for the study. It's not a great population for the evaluation of a therapy for long standing hypertension in that case.

This needs a lot more evaluation as potential therapies go. It is very far from being proven to be of benefit at the moment so I wouldn't remotely even try to rely on it.
