The Youghal beach training session has been a complete embarrassed for Cork Gaa and appealing it has made it look worse.

Is Ronan McCarthy being made a scapegoat for this? Surely the Cork County Board also knew that this training session was taking place.

If the two doctors that rescued the dog on the Wicklow mountains are being investigated by the Garda for a Covid 5km breach could Ronan McCarthy etc also be in trouble with the Gardai.

Surprised with the appeal. Clueless carry-on

No because at the time GAA intercounty was covered under elite sport - they only (and I use the word only very loosely) broke a GAA rule not a covid level 5 rule.

As the GAA is now no longer falling under elite sport - they would be breaking Covid rules now.

IMO counties should be able to run their championships as they see fit. That motion and the one banning dual captains from collecting a trophy are complete overreach from the association.

Looking for the club. Old ganmire Road where Taunton haulage is. There are two pitches to the right of it. What's the club?

Where do you mean by Old Glanmire road? I’d know most pitches but I can’t figure out exactly what area you’re referring to

For what it worth, they aren’t going to be involved with the team this year anyway.

Don’t see why it would bother people anyways it’s not like they’re paid employees

They’re picketing for something very out-there and if they were somebody representing you, some might not want that to be associated with them.

In Sport it might not matter to some as much, but still.

No but given the efforts made by gaa clubs last year and everything that was done to get games played it’s fairly disappointing to see inter county players out like that

Cork GAA ordered to pay 300k for the street lights down the Marina, way above the boards offer of 60k and well below the 750k the council wanted.

Going to be some spot when they’re done with all phases of Marina Park. Hopefully they put money into lighting the length of the marina.

Where does today’s announcement leave the unplayed championship finals from last year? Assume there’s potential for club leagues being run before September.
