In aid of my election campaign I will be hosting a TABLE QUIZ on Wednesday the 11th of March.
The quiz will take place in the upstairs bar of Weirs pub on Dun Loaghaire Main Street. The event promises to be a good bit of craic, with great prizes, a raffle, an auction and of course a fair share of competitive banter. So please come along and bring as many brains as you can.

    Doors open at 19:30!!!

This a ticketed event so to avoid disappointment, please contact event organiser, Neil Cathcart:

    saw this in sys events:

Ok folks Boards.ie's very own PIGs (Paranormal Investigation Guys) are hosting a pub quiz in The Lord Edward Pub, Christchurch on Tuesday 10th March - questions start at 8.30pm.

We doing this to raise money for this years Paranormal Convention but its not a profit making event (we just dont want to lose K's again!).

We're looking for approx 10 teams with 4 people on each team and there is a charge of €40 per team.

Obviously with this being hosted by the PIGs (monkeyfudge, Stoner, Grimes, Dre as in Dray and 6th) there will be some ghosty type questions. Thats just part of it though, expect the usual stuff with a bit of Boards.ie stuff thrown in for good measure.

Oh and of course there are prizes .... none of which are a night with anyone's ma!

If you havent got 3 other people then use this thread to snap up people, to make it easy state that you're looking for a team.

    Hi people.

This year I am doing the CARI Inca Challenge in aid of the CARI foundation and in order to raise some of the sponsorship I have organised a table quiz.

It will be held in the Isaac Butt on Store Street on Thursday the 23rd of July @ 8pm.

It will be 40 euro for a table of 4, there will be various spot prizes and also a special item which we hope to auction on the night (more when this is confirmed).

It is in aid of a great cause, in a central Dublin venue so hopefully I will see some of you there.

You can check out the links below for further information on myself, the challenge and the CARI foundation.

Local GAA clubs are usually the place to go for charity events like this but they might want a small cut from the night's takings. My local one are usually just happy to have a crowd in, especially midweek, since they get more money at the bar on nights like that than on the weekend.

    Good Luck!!
    :)
