Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I'd say make an announcement on here when we get a decent weather event, saying a chat is going on for that event, will get a good few tuning in for it then.. The chatroom on IWO was great fun during some of the snow events last year...

    I'm now on the #irishweather channel. I'm using some technical trickery (UNIX shell account, screen, irssi) to essentially be there permanently, so even if I'm not actually looking at the chat at the time, I can scroll back when I look at it again.

    Should be good entertainment!
