I can't believe that it has taken this long to find this forum. I've been thinking quite a bit about what I want to do in the next few years and am really happy to have found this outlet. Recently I've discovered the importance of surrounding yourself in a positive environment and do what makes you happy.

    So here's the list.

1 - Get strong and back playing sport. My knee has been too dodgy for too long.
2 - Like Dory, I really want to go on a long Cycle over a few countries or maybe even continents.
3 - Develop a cash flow to make all my dreams possible.
4 - Travel back to S.A. to visit more countries, especially Colombia. Really need to practice my Spanish again.
5 - Take myself out of my comfort zone and learn new skills. I want to do some tough manual labour for a few months.
6 - Have my own place to call home in Las Pampas and master the art of the Asado.

I probably could add more, but that should cover it for now. I think it is really healthy to do these lists but even more so to act on them.

My Partner thinks I'm nuts when I mention my 'bucketlist' I know its all a bit far fetched but even if I could tick a few off Id be satified to carry it over to my 'to do before 40'

    1. Get Married
    2. Travel S.A, backpack through it and just explore
    3. Do a solo parachute jump
    4. Have the abilty to remove negative thoughts and focus on the positivity that I am surrounded with
    5. Have a little home of my own with a white picket fence
    6. Be able to open my post without cringing

Am I missing out on something but what is so special about getting married?

I've got some of it done but here's mine so far:

    1. Travel (Go anywhere you never thought you would)
    2. Tell the people you love that you love them
    3. Get fit (It'll make everything easier, I mean EVERYTHING)
    4. Stop thinking "How much?". Money comes and goes, time unfortunately only goes
    5. Keep in regular contact with friends and bridge gaps in geography (Some of my best friends live 6000 miles away, just means I've got somewhere to visit with free accom!)
    6. Help somebody, work in a homeless shelter, help a friend move house - It's more rewarding to help those who need it
    7. Meet new people, that's how I found out that people seemed to like me for no other reason than I was me (Took 20 years to find that out!)
    8. Take up a sport or hobby (You can't just work ALL the time, you need to live too)
    9. Experience new anythings! They're all good to do once! You may only get one chance after all.
    10. Fall in love again

I can think of a lot of examples of things that wouldn't be good to experience even once...!

Reminds me of a joke... Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute. Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. :)

SHAVE YOUR HEAD! It's the most exhilerating thing I ever did, and I never felt as comfortable in myself. It really makes you get to know yourself better than you could imagine.
