Musicians wanted for a cafe accordion jazz band

Accordion player looking to form a band in the Dublin area – a trio or quartet to play jazz standards/popular tunes. I’m looking mainly for a bass player, a guitar player and a drummer, but other instruments as well. Many moons ago I got a degree in music (studied classical accordion abroad). I’d like to return to playing live gigs as I’ve worked in a totally different field for several years. I’ve played a MIDI accordion and used DAWs like Logic Pro.

Was thinking of starting a small cafe accordion jazz band – you can search Spotify for the type of music I had in mind: e.g. “ Portrait of Accordina “ (album by Ludovic Beier), or, “ Jazz Accordion Experience: Bouvelle and Friends “.

This is a niche genre and rather unusual choice of accordion in jazz. Might be a long shot but decided to give it a go. I think it can sell well.

Needless to say, I would be open to other genres where an acoustic accordion or MIDI accordion features.

    Cheers
