Additional Tax Credit - Child of Director

Company A is a pub operated through a limited company. A child of the director (who is 18 years of age and still in school) works in the pub in the evenings and at weekends. Is the child entitled to the PAYE tax credit or the earned income tax credit (in addition to the single tax credit)?

If they meet certain conditions, it is possible to claim it. Here's the relevant link:

Can the condition "the child gives all of their time to the job" be fulfilled though if they are a secondary school or college student?

Also, if the child isn't entitled to the PAYE credit, are they entitled to the earned income credit?
