    Hi

Just wondering if anyone has any free software recommendations for demoing something on my computer. It would need to be able to have voice over screen share.

    Thanks

Do you mean recording a voice track, and recording what's going on your screen as well?

    VLC - https://www.howtogeek.com/120202/how-to-record-your-desktop-to-a-file-or-stream-it-over-the-internet-with-vlc/

You need to change the default fps to 25 or 30, and add your laptop's mic as the audio source.

(if you have a Mac, you can just use Quicktime)

For a Mac, it's hard to beat screenflow by Telestream.

You can capture specific windows, entire screen, edit, add voiceover later or while recording. Crop out blank spaces, capture mouse movements/clicks, keyboard inputs etc etc etc.
