Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    hey guys
    i am coming off my DA with my doctor and going into full time employment NOT rehabilitative work,
    i am curious to know if i will lose my Medical card and free travel when i commence full time employment?

    It's 3 years for medical card, 5 for free travel.

    I'd also have a look at the wages subsidy scheme for employers

    All employment is now considered rehabilitative in relation to DA. The limits are quite generous so im intrigued as to why you would come off DA. If it doesnt work out it will be hard to get your payment back again.
