What's the going rate in the Private sector for expenses such as mileage and subsistence. I'm not expecting to get close to the rates in the below link but I'd like some ammo for my case to raise the rates of my current employers.…

Most private employers I've ever worked for (or audited ) paid civil service mileage rates. They are the max rates before BIK and I believe people generally considered them fairly standard. Maybe other people have had different experiences?

In any of the private sector roles I worked in (SMEs) the rates were no where near the civil service rates - the last place was €0.30/km. Subsistence was based on receipts.
