Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Molly Malone’s voice will echo over the streets of Dublin as the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street becomes the latest addition to the Fte Ireland Talking Statues initiative for Dublin. The statue will be given a voice by US student, Michaela McMahon who won an open public competition to pen the words spoken by the Molly Malone statue, with her winning script subsequently narrated by Maria Doyle Kennedy

    Used to sing Molly Malone for my now 3 year old when she was a baby. None of the usual lullabies worked and God knows I tried. Must be something to that?
