Thats great! Did SF give you that info? Any idea when we find out about snagging dates?

SF - think the first few houses are supposed to be ready for snagging this week, or so we have been told.

Has anyone been called yet? I have zero faith in SF at this point.

Spoke with Castlethorn yesterday and was told end of June for our house to be snagging compared to end of May from SF.

So realistically its looking like moving in in July?

I have received information this morning that SF received information on Friday in relation to the snag dates, apparently, for our property, it has gone back 3-4 weeks, was told on Wednesday the 15th snagging the end of May, now it's the end of June, for snagging, with a move in date, mid to late July... What a disaster!

We were told snagging in the next two weeks to the end of the month the other day

I would take every iota of information from SF or Castlethorn with a pinch of salt, absolute disaster from start to finish... Lies is all we've ever been told.

We have snagged (in the first row) and everything is now done, house is just waiting there...

Paperwork has yet to go into council and takes a full 21 days - can't close with it :(

    It's progress at least!

First row, as in the ones at the front of the estate that face the school?

If you don't mind me asking, was there much that needs snagging? Anything to look out for?

    Yep, facing the school.

Very little on the snag to be honest, mostly cosmetic quick fixes which the foreman had already spotted on a few of them.

More people starting to get snagging invites so slowly it's all starting to take shape.

Has anyone got any more snagging requests. CT said today they were hoping by the end of next week

Have you got any indication on moving in dates?

Spoke to SF today and CT are still waiting on ESB to install electricity meters in some of the builds, once they’re done, people will be called for snag the following week, then papers will be sent to the council.

Does the council paperwork really take 21 days???

Afraid so - we are 14 days in to the process tomorrow.

Asked in the construction forum and it appears so. Ours was delayed as they are submitting to the council online in batches.

Looks like we’re homeless for a few weeks so 😬

Does anyone in CT or SF actually know what they are doing on this development?

It's getting painful at this point - it's all down to CT now.

Council issued papers yesterday, our final snag was yesterday and the handful of things left over have been sorted today so we are ready to go.

Now we are told it could be mid next week before our solicitor gets the required paperwork (foreman said he expects us to close next week and is moving the security cabin up the road in preparation).

If our solicitor only gets the docs on Wednesday then we wont have enough time for the bank to close by Friday week :(

    Very very frustrating
