Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    They say visible in Ireland but wondering if eg West Coast?

    Would love to watch; I did that with one in Orkney and it was enthralling. Just sheer magic.

    They could be visible anytime after dark but the hours before sunrise is supposedly the best time for viewing them.
    There's normally 15 - 20 per hour but with the bright moon out tonight you may only see an odd one.

    Just getting really warm again and need early to bed!

    Always a sheer wionder - but the one in Orkney was far and away more dramatic, with frequent gasps of sheer awe! Not sure what year; been in Ireland 20 years so well before that.

    Did no one else see?
