    Hey guys

I am just wondering which qualification is viewed in better regard when it comes to getting a job at a leisure center or anywhere for that matter?

    Regards

    Dave

If you have both, put both on there.

RLSS is more well recognized internationally, but in an Irish context, only a daft HR goose would value one qualification over the other, all other things being equal.
The content is largely the same, the difference is that one is delivered by a professionally driven organization with a view to paid employment being the end goal, the other has a large volunteer/vocational contingent and generally slower paced delivery and is geared equally towards clubs and socially based candidates.

For Teaching/Coaching Qualifications, Swim Ireland (Fina Accredited) courses are more Portable as the FINA accreditation is used globally for competitive coaching etc so most countries national swimming bodies will have some convenient method of transfer/equivalence.
