Just finished the course and I highly recommend it. The quality of the lectures and lecturers is really high. This year the course was offered entirely online. Not sure if that'll be the case for Sep 2021.

The course is heavy going on writing. It's mostly possible to complete the course alongside placement/work. However just be aware, for the final 2 months of it you'll have a lot of work and it might be necessary to dedicate yourself to the course full time. (April/May time) If you work in a FE setting already, it might be tough going if you are similarly involved in your school's assessments.

If you apply for the course now, apply for a provision Teaching Council number right away. The only drama I had was with them. They're really disorganised and took about 6 months to process my application. In an ideal world, you get the number and can get paid for part of your placement.

Let me know if you have any more questions :)
