Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Philips LED bulb question

These bulbs are 7 years old, they are probably obselete/superceded by another Philips 4W GU10 35W PERFECTFIT 40DEG 2700K Wondering can anyone tell me what's the "modern day" equivalent as cannot seem to find the above anywhere?

OP you could probably get a much "brighter lamp" now. after 7 years the light output of your lamps would most likely be about half of that is was, they degrade considerably

the ones linked above are a very cost effective option.

Smart GU10 lamps would be the next level up, philips HUE or even the Ikea range are worth looking at
