Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

If anybody knows anybody who can either solve this or advise me further, that would be great.…

Hi,

10 years ago somebody from Boards came to me and installed a German satellite box which was excellent.

10 years later, it is still going great but the remote control and packed up and the background ground is getting loader.

If anybody knows anybody who can either solve this or advise me further, that would be great. The box is called "OPTICUM DIGITAL SATELLITE RECEIVER".

You'll need to find the model number at the bottom or rear of the receiver.

https://www.satworld.ie/accessories/remote-controls/opticum-orton-globo-rcus/ a few options there for different models.

freetv.ie also have Opticum remote controls.

lookup online codes before getting a universal remote , they may not support all buttons

If your phone supports it, irplus lists half a dozen opticum receivers
