When you say not good news for south Dublin do you mean we will get more or less snow than expected?

He was misunderstanding another user's post. It's all good, there is no change to the amount of snow expected. :)

There will be light showers nationwide tonight. Tomorrow morning there will be a lull but showers will pep up before the 4pm event, where things turn up to 11

I know I'm being pedantic but the Red warning is in place for many areas atm 'til 12 pm tomorrow then reinstated at 4pm. Why the 4 hour gap?

If I go and collect her, and don't get back by 4pm, will the Gov have snipers out?

Should be more worried about if you don't collect her!

    Again Arklow misses out

same here in Dunshaughlin, snow bands to my north and south all evening.

Still only 6 to 7cm of snow here.

Even when the radar has shown heavy snow showers it's just been light snizzle. Majority of the snow on the ground here fell last night.

Made it home safe, though some of the footpaths in town are lethal right now. Counted 6 hotels/buildings on Gardiner Street that have tried to clear the snow on their steps & path by pouring water all over them :/

Also, was walking along the Liffey and at distance was wondering what these stripey poles were, turns out they're trees, must've been some sideways snow earlier :D

    Any snow in Galway?

Galway is a big place. Ballinasloe, Loughrea, Athenry have plently of snow, upwards of 3cm.
Further west you go the lighter it is.
