race bike

Is there a bike under 5 grand that has all of the must haves

lightweight or aero frame
disc brakes
power meter
electronic shifting
decent wheelset
wheel clearance for wider tyres

with disc brakes the cost of a spare pair of wheels is required so that needs to form part of the overall price

would like to get it in an Irish shop and would like it to be on sale. could stretch to 6,000.

this isn't an advert, just wondering what the best value bike might be in any Irish shop anywhere in the country.

My guess would be the powermeter would be the limiter there, not sure I've seen one on a bike for around that money. Had initially thought maybe a giant propel might be around budget but looks just over. If your looking aero maybe,

Not aero or a race bike really but a nice bike,

If your not too fussed about brand name, something like this is nice, seen it in the flesh and it's a good looking bike

Or if you do want a brand name,

Scott addict too out in Galway,

Could be an idea to go into some shops and see if they have anything on offer, some of the Irish shops can be slow to put up the one off offers online.

That's a great colour for that TCR (doesn't tick the aero box though)

Branding be damned, Orro make beautiful bikes.

Have them in base2race Dublin. Well worth a visit for a look. Love 'em.

Nice bike. Pity about the press fit BB. Is there any major manufacturer not using them these days?
