Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    They're off to a new cheaper independent provider
    I've always found their graphics as to where the rain will be,the best
    As boards is acting up today I've no link

    BBC will still carry Severe Weather warnings issued by the Met Office. As I heard one of the former Met Office/ BBC Weather presenters ask, what happens if those warnings conflict with the commercial forecast?

    Tories insisting on cost saving and more commercial decisions by the BBC, this is the result (or a political move in response).

    It seems a bit stupid considering that the MET are publicly funded, so the loss of revenue from the BBC might have to be made up by increased government funding...
