Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Since this is the random waffle threat, and I'm so bored I wanna waffle, tell me this.

    How do you meet people in Carlow. I just broke up with my Fiance after 6 years and now find myself living here knowing feck all people. I'm just thinking will I head to the pub for a pint... but who want a pint on their own eh?

    Do any of the town gaa clubs have rubbish teams I could join. (I haven't swung a hurl in ten years!!).

    Oh Carlow... give me something to do on these boring nights. Its pretty crap when you have to look forward to work tomorrow!!!

    There's plenty of GAA clubs around town. Eire óg are beside the inner relief road near tesco, Tinryland (sp?) are out the wexford road right beside the new "Motorway"
    Palatine are out the Hacketstown road.
    There's more I know but it'd be easier just to tell us what area you live in and they we can tell you where your closest team is.

    Do you want to give us a ball park of your age and then maybe we can give better suggestions as to where you can meet people?

    PS: I like waffles

    Referring to earlier post, I'm 27, and live in Graiguecullen.
    Doesn't have to bee Gaa. I'm just looking to do some sort of sport or something to get to know people!!!
