Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I had a lamb (6 weeks old) that died from natural causes yesterday. When I went out this morning the head was taken of the lamb and the head was beside the lamb.

    What would have doing this

    the head is taken now its gone - thats when I checked at 11 tonight

    Fox. I think one of the foxes (dog or bitch) brings the full lamb and the other just tales the head because the brain is so nutritious . might be an old wives tail

    Think your right, i always heard when you found a lamb like that. It was a dog fox.

    Mr Fox was lying 25feet away from ewe with twins at 5am .. my timing was super, she had lambs lying either side of her and was facing him, he could have been there hours ... I hadn’t the shotgun with me as he was within range... it’ll be with me from now on! Delighted I got up as he surely would have had one of them away
