Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Car insurance - alternative premium

    Hi Folks

    Got the usual insurance info in the post today. A weighty tome indeed.

    Buried in the small tree they cut down to produce it is an Alternative Premium Statement which is €80 cheaper than the quote supplied by my broker. Is this a new thing?

    Does it mean I can go for that cheaper quote?

    I've been quite lazy the past few years so may have missed this before.
