If turquoise had been a man made colour that created an industry that has us exporting billions of dollars worth a year I'd probably have mentioned it.

I'm not going to argue with somebody who thinks a shade of purple is a manly word. Bad enough you tried it once, then twice....

    :P

Smidgen - denotes a value of measurement when doing man work

"Move it up a smidgen" or "Just take a smidgen off it"

How big a smidgen is depends on the user, but is typically a few millimeters

The earlier version of the car had a carburettor but on the facelifted XYZ model the fuel injection system controller delivers a more linear power output. A common fault however is a failed resistor requiring the addition of an outboard module to rectify the line voltage. In order to achieve a serviceable repair you should tuck your beard into your overalls and spread the lower crossmember bushes using a hydraulic jack to facilitate access to the block connector, then remove the front mounting bolt on the using the allen key, a coarse pitch drill bit will release the rivet at the rear and a solder connection can be made to connect the outboard rectifier.

Easy as squeezing the pips from a grape, chief.

Now if only you knew the difference between 'sentence' and 'paragraph'. :D
