Is it worth staring a thread of old pictures of Naas from any era 80's 90's 00's. Bearing in mind 2000 is nearly 20 years ago. It would be intersting to see the changes.

These aren't great, but I found them on www.nli.ie . Probably very early 90s.

Yes, and 'CORK' on the other lane, level with 'Carlow'.

Does anyone have pictures of the old car park beside St David's protestant church before they started work on it and left it in limbo?

If you're in Naas and want to see old pictures Swans on the Green have them in the Cafe and even in their loo!

I might have some from around 2000.
    I'll take a look later.

Joan and Betty Gogarty. The smell of cats, Butch the dog. Loved going in and having a look at the gifts, furniture and hardware range .

Working on an old car and found this box of matches.
    Quinnsworth in the background.
Before the building with sizzors etc was built.
What was on that site before ? I remember the garage across the road where the town center is.

Interesting. So when was that permanent tsb building built? That end of the town would look very different with the original house there. Interested to know why that would have been torn down.

Ptsb building in dire need of a modern facelift IMO

Thats a cool find. I'd like to see a picture of the garage (Mallons?) where the town centre is. I can recollect the building of the scissors building but not what was there before.
