I was wondering if there’s anyone who’s completed 1st year med in RCSI, on here? I’m trying to decide on what medical school to choose for September. Ive been accepted to RCSI already but waiting to here back from other colleges.

Could you provide some pros and cons. Also, the curriculum on the website just give a list of the modules taking, would be great if you could provide a further outline each module. Very limited information when compared to other colleges.

    Thanks in advance.

    Liz

Honestly Liz there is pretty much nothing between any of them. The syllabus is defined by the Medical council. I went to UCD (back in the day to be fair) but have done post grad diploma's and courses in RCSI too. If doing it again I honestly wouldn't be overly bothered which college.

As above, they're all the same to be honest.

The only time you'll really be asked is when you join a new team and the boss runs out of small talk...

I've worked with grads from all of them and they're all the same.
